Welcome to Academix — your school management system
Academix is a comprehensive school information system. This guide covers the three core modules: Settings, Classes, and Subjects.
Recommended setup order
Follow this order for a smooth setup:
- 1Go to Settings and configure your school profile — name, location, motto, and logo.
- 2Set the Class Name Prefix (e.g. "Grade", "Form") before creating any classes.
- 3Configure the Academic Year and Academic Terms with date ranges.
- 4Create main classes (grade levels) on the Classes & Subjects page.
- 5Add divisions to each class (e.g. Grade 8A, 8B, 8C).
- 6Create subjects (e.g. Mathematics, English, Science).
- 7Assign subjects to class divisions — from either the subject card or the class card.
